My approach to Design
I believe design begins with curiosity—researching and asking 'How might we…?' to uncover the true nature of a problem.

The solution could take any form—an app, a service, a physical product, an installation, or a toolkit. This approach has broadened my perspective, pushing me to develop diverse skills and adopt a flexible, problem-solving mindset.

For me, design is all about a collaborative approach, understanding core problems, and enhancing user experiences to make people’s life easier.

Further in this section will know more about my experience and my story towards interdisciplinary designer and things i love to o that inspire my creative approach

Experience
Design intern
V&A Dundee , AUG 2023
-
Researched for better waste management for V&A, collaborating among multiple stakeholders and departments of V&A analyzing their contribution to waste generation through quantitative and qualitative research.
-
Prepared creative quick wins to strategical Action plan for museum’s sustainability.
-
My Personal Project was using Design Thinking for Behavioral change of people towards waste in the museum. The prototypes helped to reduce waste in the museum by 20%.

My Story
I’ve always been fascinated by how people interact with the world—what they feel, what they need, and how they navigate challenges. Empathy has been at the core of how I think and act. It is this instinct to see things from others’ perspectives that drew me toward design To me, design isn’t just about solving problems; it’s about creating meaningful experiences that resonate deeply with people.
“It isn’t just about solving problems!”

Growing up in a small village in India, where barriers seem to exist everywhere. Instead of seeing them as limitations, I saw opportunities. This mindset shaped my journey as a problem solver, driven by a frugal yet innovative approach.
Art and creativity have always been central to who I am. From sketching to experimenting with technology, I developed a creative mindset that drives my approach to challenges.
“Where life barriers become opportunities”
My bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering gave me the technical foundation to solve problems, which I leveraged to win national design competitions and lead design projects. Realizing problem-solving as my passion inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in Product Design at the University of Dundee. There, I combined technical expertise with creative design thinking, which earned me the DJCAD Product Design Award in 2023.

“Blending of Skills”

I had the opportunity to work with Scotland’s design museum V&A Dundee, using my skills to address a real-world sustainability challenge. I contributed to a project that supports the UK’s net-zero goals, making a significant impact on waste management at the museum.

Every project in my portfolio is a testament to how I blend engineering, art, and design to craft solutions that truly matter.
“Every project is a testament of art, design and engineering”
